On the morning of July 30th Grants Pass Lodge in conjuction with JCSA is hosting a fund raising, friendly pistol competition at the Josephine County Sportsmans Association (JCSA) all funds raised will be to benefit the Shrine Children’s Hospital. We would like to make this an annual event.
Time July 30 from 9 AM to 1 PM
Rules
- Check in at range office between 8:00 and 8:45, pay $30 entrance fee
- Be on the LE range by 9AM
- Practice will be from 9:30 to 10:00
- You must supply
- Your weapon, unloaded, and in a case
- Eye protection and ear protection
- Your ammunition
- If you hold a CCW, your carry weapon must be left in your vehicle or at home.
- There will be 3 groups (by caliber), .22 rimfire, 9MM, 40+
- Shooting will be done in alternating relays, every shooter will receive 2, 10 minute, 10 shot opportunities to score on a target at 7 yards.
- Targets will be scored and top scorer in each group will compete in 5 shots in 5 minutes at 25 yards.
- Prizes will be awarded to the top scorer in each caliber group and the the winner of the 25 yard shoot off.
I suggest you may want to bring a simple and light lunch;
Grants Pass will provide coolers of water/soft drinks.
ABSOLUTELY NO ALCOHOL
JCSA is providing Range officer (RO), targets some tables and awnings, and is covering liability insurance and will be considered a donor along with GP #84.
