My Brothers,
Our May 3rd stated meeting will be one of significance. We will be receiving the District Deputy on his official visit. We will therefore open on the Master Mason Degree and after receiving the DD go to refreshment and open EA short form to conduct business and invite in all the EA’s and FC’s.
Major items on the agenda will be voting on use of some of the funds realized from the sale of our rental and using them for lodge improvements. We will have petitions to vote on.
EA proficiency on May 10th and perhaps even an EA degree.
May 7th will be the May dinner honoring mothers, wives, and widows. See the Junior Warden’s article for details.
Who will be the FC that we will raise in July, when we once again have an outdoor degree?
We have EA Proficiency coming in May 10th.
See you on May 3rd at Stated Meeting.

From the West
My Brethren,
In preparation for May remember that Boatnik is Memorial Day Weekend. Let support the lodge and our Jr Deacon and sign up for the Child ID event. I know how much preparation goes into this. The help from each other to work this event is much needed.
I am hoping that we have a candidate for the outdoor degree. Remember that your parts are important in this degree, and we like to impress our candidate with this degree. This in no way diminishes from the other degrees but our parts in each degree are important too. It looks like we will have a Proficiency and Fellowcraft degree on May 10th. We will make sure that the candidate is ready for this day.

Brethren,
May brings us a few events, Cinco de Mayo, Mother’s Day & Memorial Day. I’m planning to combine the first two into one dinner. May 7th is our Widows, wives & mothers dinner. Men will be serving the Ladies at their table Navaho Tacos, fruit and something to drink. $10 per plate, and Widows always eat for free at Masonic Dinners.
May 7th 5 pm
$10.
RSVP by May 6th
Enjoy the Spring!

Cemetery Clean Up
Jon Torbert
We have a cemetery clean up planned for Saturday May 14th. From 9am to about 3pm. Lots of hands makes the work go by. Bring your mowers, weed wackers, and anything else you have. If anyone has another rider mower, or Zero Turn mower it would be very welcome. We will have a pizza lunch sometime around 12noon to 1pm. Thank you in advance. Jon Torbert Cemetery Manager
